MOMS Club © is an acronym for the slogan “Moms Offering Moms Support.” We are one of the more than 2000 national MOMS Club chapters and are a support group for mothers who stay at home to raise their children.
The MOMS Club ©, a nonprofit organization, engages in activities to enrich the lives of children in the community, provides a forum for topics pertinent to children, child raising, homemaking, personal improvement and the family. Members meet at each other's homes, parks, playgroups, hiking trails, malls, coffee shops, museums, and other fun spots to catch up with other members - there is always something to learn about our desert community. Come to a meeting to help plan and participate in these events. Contact us to receive the meeting info. Do note that for the safety of the children, we do not publish meeting locations.
Each year, our members complete at least one charitable, humanitarian or social welfare project related to children. Our 2009-2010 Service Project was raising funds to support the Mother-to- Mother Fund, the only official charity of the International MOMS Club. This fund provides grants to member MOMS in need of financial support due to disasters, natural or otherwise. Mom's Club of Palm Springs / Cathedral City is now in the exciting process of researching and developing a service project for the 2010-2011 fiscal year ! Member moms are a vital force in this development process. Yet another reason to join Mom's Club.
